Many readers will disagree with much of what the author presents. The author is a fundamentalist, Bible believer who presents history as a degradation of society into liberalism and Godlessness. Why should the author be forbidden from passionately presenting his case of history while displaying his personality and humor throughout? If you are looking for a dry textbook of history with some mainline/nominal Christianity sprinkled occasionally throughout the text. The author has a unique sense of humor, but I enjoyed his severity of speech and passion in writing (with an obvious sarcastic overtone present throughout).
I enjoyed how he tied historical events together to reveal the larger “behind the scenes” narrative at work as it has played out before our eyes.
